The college has a career guidance and counseling
cell itself, on our own interest, to provide
mental support to the student community and to
give them proper guidance in their higher
studies. The UGC sponsored career and counseling
cell started and functioning .This project
helped the students a lot in having more
guidance.
Objectives :
a) To create awareness among the students for
their future profession.
b) To provide guidance to the students on
various options available in the courses of
their study.
c) To provide information to the students on the
scope and relevance of any area irrespective of
their field of interest.
d) To help the students in the development of
their self-identity, use of appropriate social
skills for interacting with others.
e) To provide guidance to develop positive
attitude and behavior in order to meet
challenges of life to make it healthier.
Following activities were conducted by the
cell.
1. "Nine types of Personality" by Swami
Athmananda on. He monitored a group wise
personality analysis of the students.
2. "Introduction to Yoga", lecture cum
demonstration class on. A follow up programme
was also conducted for the interested
participants.
3. A class organized on "Career and study
opportunities" by experts from Campus.
4. On the basis of this, A talk on "How to face
interviews and the preparation of resume" for
final year students .
5. "Holistic development of personality". In
addition to this, personal counseling is also
arranged for the needy students as directed by
the class teachers.
