for +2 and Degree examinations.
1. The college shall conduct the following
examinations for promotion to the next higher
class or for being sent up for the
University/Council Examination.
(i) For +2 1st year class- Half/Annual
Examinations
(ii) For +2 2nd year class- Test Examinations
()ii) For +3 1st year class- Test Examinations
(iv) For +3 2nd year class- Test Examinations
(v) For +3 3rd year class- Test Examinations
Test and Annual examinations will be conducted
in December, April and the duration of the
examination will be of two hours only.
2. Tentative dates for conduct of such
examinations will be notified and detailed
programmers for such examinations will be
notified at least seven days prior to the
commencement of the examinations.
3. Marks secured in these examinations will be
considered at the time of promoting the students
to the next higher class and sending up for the
University & +2 examinations.
4. (i) Whenever a student is found resorting to
malpractice during any examination he will be
straight away fired & awarded zero in the
particular examination and the punishment notice
will be read out in all classes and also sent to
his/her parent or guardian.
(ii) The procedure of punishment shall also
apply for the students, who misbehave and
causing disturbance during examination vide
circular No-1504 Dt. 11.07.77 of the D.P.I (H.E)
Orissa. The Principal has the authority to
reduce the punishment.
(iii) Student found resorting to unfair means
for the second time in the examination shall be
severely dealt with and run the risk of being
detained or being expelled from the college.
5. Exemption from the examination does not
necessarily mean promotion.
6. Application for exemption from college
examinations will not ordinarily be considered.
In exceptional cases application for such
exemption may be made by parents/guardians
within three days after the completion of the
examination and duly supported & medical
certificate in case of illness of the students
and must be endorsed by the concerned proctor
and lectures in charge of college examination.
7. For promotion of students to the next higher
class & for sending up students to the
University /+2 examination principles are to be
laid down by the Principal and recommendations
of the staff council are to be sought for.
Council & university
examination:
The Higher Secondary Council conducts annually
two examinations, the annual and the second
examination for +2 and the University conducts
only one examination for +3 students in each
class.
PASS MARK & CLASSIFICATION OF
SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES
( BOTH FOR C.H.S.E. & UNIVERSITY EXAMS.)
Pass Mark :
1. +2 ARTS, SCIENCE & COMMERCE :
(i) 30% of marks in each subject in which there
is no practical examination.
(ii) 30% in the theory and 30% in practical in
subject in which there is a practical.
(iii) 30% in the aggregate.
2. First Division - 540 marks above
Second Division - 450 - 539 marks
Third Division - 315 - 449 marks
