Right to Information Act is set out of the
practical regime of Right to Information for
students / guardians to secure access to
information under the control of Meghasan
College, in order to promote transparency and
accountability in the working of every
students/guardians. The college RTI Cell was
established as per sections 4(a) & 4(b) and 5(1)
& 5(2) of the RTI Act 2005
As per the Act "Information" means:
1. Records
2. Documents
3. memos
4. Orders
5. Reports
6. Models data material etc.
As per the provisions of the Right to
Information Act-2005, student/guardian can ask
for the Information in relation to his records
by an application to the Public Information
Officer (PIO). The Right to Information is right
conferred on the student of college only.
